Milton Connolly

Milton H. Connolly, 75, of Cass City, died Tuesday, October 21, 2003 at home. He was born November 17, 1927 in Detroit to Hugh and Helen (Hill) Connolly. He married Ann Lehmann January 31, 1955 in Cass City.

Milton served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He also served in the U.S. Army and in the U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary. Milton was a fire chief of Cass City and served with them for over 30 years. He was also a member of the Michigan’s Firemen Association. He was an active member of the Masonic Tyler Lodge #317 and also a member of the Shriners.

Milton is survived by his wife, Ann; daughter, Renate (Bill) Harwood of Grayling; granddaughter, Suzanne Harris of Grayling; great grandchildren: Rachel, Ryan, Kayla, Keenan, Ciarrah; brother, James (Helen) Connolly of Carsonville; sister, Bessie Ann Krohn of Illinois. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Pearl Connolly; Brother-in-law, James Krohn.

Funeral services held 1:00 p.m., Friday, October 24, 2003 at Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Carl Palmateer of the Masonic Tyler Lodge #317 officiating. Interment is in Elmwood Township Cemetery, Grayling. Memorials may be made to the Elkland Township Fire Department or the Masonic Tyler Lodge #317.

Visitation: 2 to 4 p.m. & 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 23, 2003
