NANCY ANN COMBS
75, of Kingston, died Wednesday, May 11, 2022 in United Hospice of Marlette Residence Center, Marlette. She was born September 7, 1946 in Detroit to Anthony Louis Richard and Jartrude Lancy (Sizemore) Kanan. She married Clayton Combs April 8, 1967 in Detroit.
Nancy was a homemaker. She raised her seven children and was a very caring mother. After they were grown, Nancy worked at Elias Brothers, Parker Elementary and a hair salon. In her younger years, she and Clayton enjoyed dancing together. She began the hobby of scrapbooking many years before it became popular. Nancy and Clayton always made time once a week to go out and share a meal.
Nancy is survived by her husband of fifty-five years, Clayton; daughter, Brenda (Jerry) Wallace of TN; sons: Brian (Melanie) Combs of Ferndale, Ed Combs of Kingston, Paul (Misty) Combs of Warren, David (Jessica) Combs of Waterford, Greg (Candy) Combs of Centerline, Donnie (Kim) Combs of Madison Heights; several grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at a later date. Family and friends may share memories, prayers, and photos at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
