NORMAN LEE COATES
Norm L. Coates, 62, of Cass City, died Saturday, July 10, 2004 in Ann Arbor VA Hospital after a short illness. He was born September 21, 1941 in Mt. Clemens to Roy and Liddy (Kinney) Coates. He married Theresa A. Mulrath October 3, 1964 in Ellington Township.
Norm served in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1962. He was self-employed. Norm enjoyed an occasional fishing trip and enjoyed visiting and participating at flea markets.
Norm is survived by his wife, Theresa; son, Rick Coates of Cass City. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Oakley Coates who died in the service.
Private burial services to be held 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 13, 2004 at his graveside in Novesta Township Cemetery, Cass City with Ralph Boyce of Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses officiating.
