Dianne K. Chrzan, 72, of Cass City, died following a long illness Monday, February 15, 2016 in her daughter's home. She was born April 23, 1943 in Bay City the second of four children born to Charles and Lurine (Davenport) Ahrens.
Dianne graduated from Bay City Central High School. She worked as a CNA for Tendercare Nursing Facility for several years. Dianne enjoyed playing Solitaire and completing crossword puzzles. She was a great cook and baker. Dianne loved her grandchildren with all her heart.
Dianne is survived by her children: Susan (James) Cameron of Rhodes, MI, David (Angie) Chrzan of Russell Springs, KY, Jennifer (Allan) Horne of Cass City, Greg (Tina) Chrzan of Cass City, Jeff (Kemberelyn) Chrzan of Killeen, TX; stepson, Ronald Weitzel of Cass City; grandchildren: Amber, David, Lakeisha, Latisha, Brent, Jennifer (Cody), Hailey, Desirae, James Jr., Andrew, Brady, Tiffany, Harlie, Kellie, Brandon, Elizabeth, Johnathon; many great grandchildren; sister, Sharon Chesney of Saginaw; many nieces and nephews; extended family: Laura Phelps of Cass City, Lucinda Phelps of Cass City. She is preceded in death by her parents; great granddaughter, Allyn; brother, Duane Ahrens; sister, Judy Sproull.
Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 17, 2016 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Debra L. Kranz, Funeral Service Celebrant officiating.
