CARY MICHAEL GRANT

Cary M. Grant, 83, of Caro, died Monday, July 29, 2024 in his home. He was born August 2, 1940 in Pontiac to Theodore Woodrow and Leeta Mae (Bromm) Grant. He married Donna Jean Grant on August 20, 1979 in Waterford Township. 

Cary served in the U.S. Marine Corps for three years. He worked for Fisher Body and Fiero Assembly Plant in Pontiac for thirty-one years before retiring in 1993. Cary enjoyed bowling and golfing. He watched various sports on television including golf, football, baseball, auto racing and many more. Cary liked to visit Saganing Eagles Landing Casino and the Soaring Eagle Casino. He was proud to keep his yard looking meticulous. Cary will be remembered for his great sense of humor. 

Cary is survived by his loving wife of forty-five years, Donna; children: Deborah (Rob) Beveridge of Mt. Pleasant, PA; Michael (Andrea) Grant of Mt. Pleasant, PA; Cindy (Scott Seawall) Grant of Rockledge, FL; Tina (Chris) Gillin of Waynesburg, PA; grandchildren: Steven, Heather, Shawn, Jessica, Lonita, RC, CJ, Matt; great grandchildren: Alex, Aiden, Stetson, August, Baylor; sister, Vivian Emerick; sisters-in-law: Peggy Bell, Nancy Grant; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Theodore Grant II, Leonard Grant; half-brother, Richard Bromm. 

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 5, 2024 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Chaplin Jay Roussel officiating. Burial held Tuesday, August 6, 2024 in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly with military honors conducted by the U.S. Marine Corps Honor Guard. Memorials may be made to First State Home Health and Hospice Care.
