CHARLOTTE ANN CARR


Charlotte Ann Carr, 88, of Gagetown, died Thursday, November 13, 2008 in her home. She was born May 30, 1920 in Highland Park to Earl and Ethel (Finkbeiner) McKee. She married Clayton Carr January 4, 1936 in Hazel Park. He died June 13, 1976.


Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, especially baking her homemade cinnamon rolls, bread and making her homemade jam. She enjoyed planting Zinnia flowers.


Charlotte is survived by her children: Donna M. Fahl of Sebewaing, June A. Carr of Gagetown, Verna B. (Bill) Linderman of Gagetown, William C. (Debbie) Carr of Sebewaing, Sharon L. Mitchell of Sebewaing; daughter-in-law, Nellie Carr of Sterling Heights; grandchildren: Clay (Eileen) Fahl, David (Sharon) Fahl, Kim (Todd) Winieck, Edward (Deborah) Carr, Jennifer Carr, Ann Dietzel, John (Cathy) Linderman, Lisa Stephens, Dana Linderman, Melissa (Mark) Tomlinson, Michelle (Scott) Wright, William (LeeAnn) Carr Jr., Christopher Carr, Bridgette Carr, Tanner Carr, Sean (Amanda) Mitchell, Ashlea (Bill) Cox; step-grandchildren: Jodi (Todd) Austin and Jessica Bennett; 22 great grandchildren; 2 step great grandchildren; one great great granddaughter; brother, James R. (Bonnie) McKee; several nieces, nephews, cousins and special friends. Charlotte is preceded in death by her infant son, Jack; son, Richard E. Carr; brother, Earl McKee Jr.; son-in-law, Frank Mitchell; grandson-in-law, Paul Dietzel.


Funeral service held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, November 16, 2008 in Kranz Funeral Home – Cass City with Wendy Orzel, Chaplain Home and Hospice Advantage officiating. Interment will be in Elmwood Township Cemetery, Gagetown. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Pallbearers for Ms. Carr are her grandsons: Clay Fahl, David Fahl, Edward Carr, John Linderman, William Carr Jr., Christopher Carr, Tanner Carr, Sean Mitchell.
