Carol S. Hartman, 78, of Cass City, died peacefully on Saturday, April 19, 2025. She was born October 12, 1946 in Cass City to Donald and Beva (Nichols) Wallace.

Carol was a devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family—whether gathered around a table, out in the sunshine, or simply sharing stories and laughter. She was the heart of her family, always offering kindness, warmth, and a listening ear.

A gentle soul with a generous spirit, Carol had a quiet strength and a giving heart. She enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, especially in her garden, where she tended to her flowers—each bloom a reflection of the care she poured into everything she did.

Carol retired from TI Automotive after thirty-four years of dedicated service, where she formed lasting friendships and made a lasting impact. She will be remembered not only for her hard work but for the compassion she extended to everyone around her.

Carol is survived by her beloved children: Mike (Leanna) Hartman, Lisa (Rob) Lawrence, Paul (Erin) Hartman; grandchildren: Corey Hartman, Haley Hartman, Jake (McKeala) Lawrence, Alyssa (Dustin) Wilson; several great grandchildren; her treasured siblings: Sharon (Arnold) Erla, Al (Charlie) Walace, Marilyn Zimba; and extended family—all of whom she loved deeply and unconditionally.

Carol’s life will be honored with a celebration of life to be held at a later date. In every bloom, every warm memory, and every act of kindness, Carol’s spirit lives on.
