Barbara Bullis

Barbara A. Bullis, 81, of Caro, died Friday, July 25, 2003 in her home. She was born February 20, 1922 in Yawkey, West Virginia to Walter Taylor and Effa (Pauley) Bell. She married Walter Ray Bullis January 31, 1959 in Montrose. He died in April 10, 1999.

Barbara worked as a LPN nurse at Hurley Hospital in Flint for 17 years. She enjoyed gardening and was an avid square dancer. She also enjoyed studying geneology.

Barbara is survived by her children: Mollie (Orville “Glen”) Glendening of Kalispell, MT, Michael Ray (Donna) McDaniel of Caro, Mahlon (Carol) Bullis of Portland, OR; grandchildren: Kevin (Sara) McDaniel, Keith McDaniel, Jeff (Stephanie) Purnell, Mark Doan, Paul Doan, Robert (Debra) Sherman, Bradley (Kendra) Ferree, Jennifer (Adam) Gennrich; several great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter, June Ann Doan; grandson, Ken McDaniel; granddaughter, Holly Doan and her brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be 2 to 5 p.m., Saturday, July 26, 2003 at Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, MI. Funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, 2003 at Curry Funeral Home, Alum Creek, West Virginia with Keith McDaniel officiating. Interment is in Bell Family Cemetery, Yawkey, West Virginia. Memorials may be made to United Hospice of Marlette.
