KAREN ELAINE BULCHAK,
73, of Deford, died suddenly Tuesday evening, April 12, 2016 in her home. She was born September 1, 1942 in Liberal, KS the second of three children born to Thomas and Florence (VanderVort) Little. Karen married William Anthony Bulchak September 17, 1960 in Clark County, Nevada. William is a U.S. Army Veteran. He was awarded two medals of honor during his time in Korea guarding the demilitarized zone.

Karen enjoyed many types of crafts including crocheting. She made blankets for her grandchildren. Karen enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing the guitar and the organ. She enjoyed listening to Gospel music. Karen loved to read her Bible. She also enjoyed reading Reader's Digest and National Geographic magazines. Karen was a prolific writer, writing thousands of letters to her sisters over the years. She enjoyed fishing with Bill on Lake St. Clair. Bill and Karen loved watching the many birds that visited their feeders.

Karen is survived by her husband, William; children: Eve (Bill) Wiseman of Clinton Township, Tony (Gemma) Bulchak of Hazel Park, William (Shari) Bulchak of Warren, Beth Anne (Tom Daniels) McQueen of Roseville, Katherine Bulchak of Warren; 14 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Gary Little of Elkhart, KS; sisters-in-law: Darlene Fletcher of New Baltimore, Sharon Schoessler of Fraser; several nieces and nephews including: Mark Little of Ontario, CA, Mike Dennison of Bethlehem, PA, Ernie Dennison of Las Vegas, NV. She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters: Shirley Sutton and Anita Dennison; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Booth.

Memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
