Joseph A. Bujak, 76, of Cass City, died peacefully in his home with his family at his side, Thursday, January 17, 2008. He was born November 7, 1931 in Detroit to Andrew and Elsa (Matzka) Bujak. He married Beatrice Celia Georges May 29, 1954 in St. Martins Catholic Church in Detroit.
Joseph served in the U.S. Army 187th Airborne RCT during the Korean War. He worked as a Tool and Die maker working for several Tool and Die shops over the years. Joe was a member of the D.A.V., Knights of Columbus Cass City/Gagetown Council #8892 and the Cass City VFW Post #3644. Joe enjoyed bowling, hunting, fishing and working in his beautiful gardens around his home. Those left to remember and cherish Joseph include his wife, Beatrice; his children: Robert (Sharon A.) Bujak of Cass City, Andrew (Sharon L.) Bujak of Fort Myers, FL, Deanna M. (Paul) Brown of Rose City, Joseph M. (Christina) Bujak of Fenton; grandchildren: Shilah, Brandon, Eric, Amanda, Lauren, Ashley, Christine, Alicia, Joseph, and Chelsea; great grandchildren: Broxten, Morgan, Emily, Nolan, Savannah, Julia, and Natalie; brother, David Bujak of Mt. Clemens; sister, Jeanette Davis of Mt. Clemens; sisters-in-law: Jacqueline Bujak of St. Clair Shores, Doreen Bujak of Clinton Township; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his sister, Evelyn Gill; brothers: Egan Bujak, Phillip Bujak, and Frank Bujak.
Memorial service held 11:15 a.m. Monday, February 4, 2008 in St. Pancratius Catholic Church with Rev. Stephen J. Fillion officiating. Memorials may be made to the St. Pancratius Catholic Church or St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital. Interment will take place at a later date.
