Phillip L. Buffington, 71, of Caro, died Friday, March 14, 2008 in Caro Community Hospital. He was born May 19, 1936 in Detroit to Kenneth and Verna (Howren) Buffington.
Phil served in the U.S. Marine Corp in Japan and California during the Korean War. He worked as an Engineers Aid in heavy construction for many years. Phil worked with civil engineers for three years and then for the Oakland County Road Commission for 27 years.
Phil is survived by his two sons, Phillip Buffington and Robert Buffington; caregiver, Jennifer Anderson of Caro and friend, Dave Osentoski of Caro.
