ROY EDWIN BROWNING
48, of Caro died following an extended illness on Tuesday, February 21, 2023 in Covenant Healthcare Harrison Campus, Saginaw. He was born September 5, 1974 in Caro to Edwin Conrad and Jeanne Amelia (London) Browning. He married MaKenna Butler on October 1, 2022 in Kingston.
Roy graduated from Kingston High School in 1992 and worked for Wenzloff Dairy Farm. He joined the United States Marine Corps. and served for four years before being honorably discharged. Roy was employed as a semi-truck driver and for Two Men and a Truck of Oxford. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed cooking.
Roy is survived by his wife, MaKenna of Caro; son, Dakota Wicker of NC; siblings: Sandra (Ken) Nicol of Kingston, Daniel C. (Kadee) Browning of Caro, Wade Smith of MI; step mother, Cheryl Browning of Kingston; step sister, Lisa Badour of Essexville; many nieces and nephews, MaKenna’s parents: Leon (Candy) Bulter of Caro. He is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial gathering will be held at a later date in the Caro Church of the Nazarene. Interment in Brookside Cemetery, Fairgrove.
