LORRAINE MARIE BROOKS
60, of Cass City, was called home to be with the Lord on Monday, April 19, 2021 due to a short-term illness in Covenant Medical Center, Cooper Campus, Saginaw. She was born on April 26, 1960 in Cass City, Michigan, the daughter of Oscar D. Brooks and Patricia M. Brooks.
After graduating high school, Lorraine received her associate degree in business from Baker College in Cass City. She worked as a store clerk for McConkey Jewelry and several grocery stores for many years. Lorraine was a member of First Baptist Church of Cass City, where she served faithfully working with the children. Lorraine was a woman whose faith and hope were in Jesus Christ her Savior.
Lorraine is survived by her brothers: Wayne Brooks of Grand Rapids, Brent (Roxanne) Brooks of Bay City; sister, Sally (David) Alban of Big Rapids; sister-in law, Linda Brooks of Kouts, IN; her beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, David Brooks.
Private family graveside service held in Novesta Township Cemetery with Pastor Christian Wright of First Baptist Church of Cass City officiating. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Cass City. Friends may share memories, prayers, and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
