ROGER MICHAEL BRIEF
58, of Marlette, formerly of Frankenmuth, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, December 13, 2022. He was born March 3, 1964 in Marlette to Ronald and Doris Ann (Lambert) Brief.
Roger graduated from Frankenmuth High School with the class of 1982. He took some construction classes and briefly worked for a construction company before working at Zeilinger Wool Company in Frankenmuth for over thirty years. He was blessed with a rare skill to operate and repair textile machinery dating back to the 1930’s. Roger taught that skill to others over the years, as he was also a patient teacher of many things. An avid outdoorsman, Roger enjoyed hunting, fishing, and rustic camping. Many trips were taken with family and friends, where countless memories were made. Roger had a fun personality and was always willing to lend a helping hand to others in need. For twenty-three years, he helped care for his boss and friend, Gary. Gary was in a hunting accident that rendered him wheelchair bound.
