GODFRED BREDEMEYER
Godfred Bredemeyer, 81, of Cass City, died Sunday, November 7, 2004 in Tendercare Nursing Facility. He was born March 10, 1923 in Detroit to Rudolph and Helen (Matusiak) Bredemeyer. He married Helen M. Bober November 16, 1957 in Plymouth.
Godfred served in the U.S. Army Air Corp during World War II in the Pacific Theatre. After returning from the service he worked for Argus Camera as an Inspector, and later for Burroughs and Sycor. Godfred and his wife became motel owners and managers. He enjoyed woodworking.
Godfred is survived by his wife, Helen; sons: Jim (Brenda) Bredemeyer of Brighton and Bob (Annette) Bredemeyer of Cass City; grandchildren: Dawn Bredemeyer, Tamara (Ramzi) Barghout, Joshua Bredemeyer, Rachel (Andrew II) Morales; great grandchildren: Andrew III and Zaina; brother-in-law, Bob Shawdash. He is preceded in death by his sister, Berniece Shawdash.
