RANDY THOMAS BRANDOW
67, of Cass City, died Sunday, December 11, 2022 in his son’s home after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 16, 1955 in Harbor Beach, the oldest of ten children born to Walter and Melissa (Dore) Brandow. He married Darlene June Clark on November 20, 1982 in Shabbona. She died September 5, 2014.
Randy graduated from Harbor Beach High School. He worked for Deckerville Plastic for twenty-two years, then he worked for fifteen years in Walmart of Sandusky until retirement. Randy loved watching Western movies, and being outdoors; especially, deer hunting and fishing. He truly enjoyed the simple things in life. Randy was a compassionate, caring person and was always thinking of others. No one was ever a stranger; they were always a friend. Family meant everything to Randy, particularly his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Randy is survived by his children: Duane Wilcox of Cass City, April Hernandez of Flint, Lisa (John) Blake of Fairgrove; grandchildren: Jessica Day, Steven Benjamin, Sandra Draper, Sasha Woodruff, Jadelynn Bone, Nolan Wilcox, Brittany Wilcox, Tony Samons, Christina Samons, Tiffany Giraud, Kenneth Green, Lynn Wilcox, Karla Hernandez, Sarah Hernandez, Autumn Hernandez, Julie Rands, Gerald Rands, David Rands; many great grandchildren; sisters: Mary Brandow, Wanda Brandow, Vickie Humphrey, JoAnne Jansen; brothers: Walt Brandow, Allen Brandow, Rick Brandow, Jerry Brandow. He is preceded in death by his wife; son, Leonard Carl Wilcox Jr.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 16, 2022 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Stacey Brown officiating. Interment will be in New River Cemetery, Port Austin. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer.
