THELMA J. BRADEN,
81, of Mayville, died Sunday, November 20, 2010 in the care of her loving family. She was born October 19, 1929 in Caro to Henry and Ethel (Knight) Taylor. She married Victor Eugene Braden December 21, 1957 in Flint. He died November 9, 2007.
Thelma worked for General Motors at the Fisher Body Plant in Flint for many years. She was a member of Kingston Wesleyan Church. Thelma enjoyed taking her boys out to Taco Bell and to get ice cream. She enjoyed going to church, shopping and visiting with friends. Thelma truly enjoyed her life with her husband and family.
Thelma is survived by her son, Robert (Sue Tricky) Neff of Mayville; son-in-law, David McClelland of Florida; step-children: Loyce (Jimmy) Haywood of Missouri, Gary Braden of Jonesboro, AR; granddaughter, Jessica (Jesse Brace) Neff; great grandchildren: Taylor, Ty, and Tristin. She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren from Illinois, Missouri, and Arkansas; several nieces and nephews and a special cousin, Lucille Trisch of Kingston. She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Gail McClelland; daughter-in-law, Terry Neff; infant brothers, Bobby and Jackie; sister, Leona Cousineau.
Graveside service held 1:00 p.m. Monday, November 29, 2010 in East Dayton Cemetery with Pastor Len Wyatt of Kingston Wesleyan Church officiating. Interment will be in East Dayton Cemetery.
