NANCY LEE BOYL,
70, of Kingston, died Friday, May 6, 2011 in MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born February 16, 1941 in Caro to William and Rose (Hadi) Froede. She married Wesley Benjamin Boyl September 28, 1963 in Caro. He died April 24, 2007.
Nancy was a very active member of Kingston Methodist Church and United Methodist Women. She was an excellent cook, cooking for all family gatherings. Nancy shared her cooking talent at many church dinners including the annual Harvest Dinner. Nancy worked as Senior Cosmetology Instructor for Howard’s Beauty Academy, Caro for many years. She enjoyed her students and her time at Howard’s. The center of Nancy’s life was her grandchildren. She loved and adored them and was very involved in their lives.
Those left to remember and cherish her memory include her children: Scott (Glenda) Boyl of Kingston, Jeff (Lisa) Boyl of Carmel, IN, Justin (Alischia) Boyl of Kingston; grandchildren: Zachary, Jenna, Kaleb, Hannah, Wesley, Brennen and Faith; special daughter and her family, Deb (Joe) Hart; Ben, Louie, Maria, and Addie; brothers: William “Bill” Froede of Kingston, Jim (Shelly) Froede of Deford; sister, Kay (Cap) Caverly of Kingston; mother-in-law, Jean Boyl of Kingston; sister-in-law, NoraJean (Tom) Little of Cass City; brother-in-law, Wayne (Karen) Boyl of Otsego; many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011 in Kingston United Methodist Church with Rev. Debra Brown officiating. Interment will be in Kingston Cemetery. Pallbearers for Ms. Boyl: Jim Jensen, Dan Shaw, Jim Froede, Bryan Froede, Dennis Steele, and Ken Distlerath. Memorials may be made to Kingston United Methodist Church.
