TEDDY LEE BOOTH,
of Cass City, died following a brief illness Monday, December 30, 2019 in his home. He was born June 22, 1955 in Fresno, CA to Howard Booth and Janie Mae Mitchell. He married Susan Parker April 2, 1973 in Detroit.
In his younger years, he loved working on cars and taking his sons to the Detroit Grand Prix races. Teddy was known as a jokester, especially with firecrackers on the Fourth of July. He was employed as a mechanical technician by McLouth Steel in Trenton for twenty years. Teddy later worked at American Axle Manufacturing in Detroit as a millwright for fifteen years. Teddy enjoyed deer hunting and fishing.
Teddy is survived by his wife, Susan and their children: Danny (Traci) Booth of Lake Orion; Jason (Melissa) Booth of Wyandotte; Brian Booth of Sedro-Woolley, WA; Kevin (Christina) Booth of Lincoln Park; eleven grandchildren and one due in March; brothers: John David Booth, Steve Simpson; sisters: Janice Stanley, Theresa Simpson, Connie Simpson; brother-in-law, Sam Dutton; sister-in-law, Julie (Mike) Albright; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Cathy Mitchell; sister-in-law, Sherrie Dutton.
Private memorial service held in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Pastor Keith Clark of Victory Baptist Church, Taylor officiating. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and photos with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
