Diane Bock

Diane K. Bock, 59, of Cass City, died Thursday, September 3, 2009 in Tendercare Cass City following a long battle with cancer. She was born October 17, 1949 in Pigeon to Gerald William August and Irva M. (Schulz) Bock.

Diane was an active member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She helped with several church activities including Vacation Bible School. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening and especially loved her cats. But the most important thing to Diane, was her family. She helped care for her nieces and nephews and never said “No” to their requests for help or attention.

Diane is survived by her mother, Irva; brothers: Randy (Karen) Bock of Ubly, Thomas (Shari) Bock of Snover, Steven Bock of Cass City, David (Shari) Bock of Cass City; nieces and nephews: Tammy (Paul) Gugle, Jennifer Bock, Jamie (Lee) Cox, Nathan (Ashley) Bock, Jonathan Bock, Matthew Bock, Andrew Bock, Stephanie Bock, Kaitlyn Bock, Payton Bock; great nieces and nephews: Jenna, Preston, Kylie and Hannah. Diane is preceded in death by her father; and grandparents: William and Johannah Bock, Dewilda and Walter Schulz.

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 5, 2009 in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Boyer officiating. Interment will be in Grant Township Cemetery, Gagetown.
