BONNIE SUSANNE BITTERLING,
61, of Snover, died following a short illness Easter Sunday, April 24, 2011 in Medilodge of Port Huron. She was born September 16, 1949 in Morris Hospital in Cass City to Lorene and Mildred Emma (McGregory) Bitterling.
Bonnie loved her Special Olympics activities. She enjoyed bowling and going on outings with her family and friends. Bonnie enjoyed watching Westerns on television. She also loved the action of Wrestling matches on television. Her favorite and most peaceful times were spent rocking in her rocking chair.
Bonnie is survived by her mother, Mildred Shipley of Summerfield, FL; sister, Joyce (Ray) McCool of Nashville, TN; brothers: Gary (Rose) Bitterling of Ubly, Jerry (Roberta) Bitterling of Unionville, Larry (Cheryl) Bitterling of Newport News, VA, Terry (Shiela) Bitterling of Summerfield, FL; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her father who died February 6, 1995.
Private services will be held in the fall at Bonnie’s graveside in Evergreen Township Cemetery. She will be buried there with her grandparents. Memorials may be made to Special Olympics or the Charity of the Donor’s Choice. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
