DAVID LEE BILLS
David L. Bills, 28, of Cass City, died unexpectedly Saturday, October 30, 2004 in Hills and Dales General Hospital, Cass City. He was born November 25, 1975 in Cass City to Thomas and Janene (Bohnsack) Bills.
David graduated from Cass City in 1994 as Class Valedictorian. He graduated in 1998 Cum Laude from Michigan Technological University with a degree in Civil Engineering. David was part owner of Thomas Roofing. He was member of Monday & Wednesday Pool Leagues at Cass Tavern in Cass City and Gagetown Inn in Gagetown. David loved hunting and fishing. He was not only Tom and Janene’s son, but also their best friend. David loved and cared about people. He was a very wonderful person.
David is survived by his parents, Tom and Janene of Cass City; brother, Dr. Michael (Betty) Bills of Bad Axe; niece, Michaela Bills; many special friends; and his best friend, his Beagle, Pal; aunts and uncles: Ken (Fran) Bills of Ocqueoc, Larry (Janice) Bills of Bay City, Lonnie (Linda) Bills of Grand Rapids, Dennis (Marcia) Bills of Lapeer, Virginia (Dan) Ziot of Imlay City, John (Carol) Bohnsack of Houghton Lake, Judy Surgent of Bay City, Linda (Bob) Lukens of Mt. Pleasant, Michelle Strauss of Bay City; many cousins. He is preceded in death by his brother, Dr. Steven N. Bills; Uncle Ed Bills, and his grandparents.
Funeral services to be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2004 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City, with Chuck Emmert of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice. Interment will take place in Elkland Township Cemetery, Cass City.
