ALBERT "BUD" EUGENE BENJAMIN,
63, of Caro died Tuesday, October 4, 2011 in his home with his family by his side. He was born August 21, 1948 in his Grandmother's home in Silverwood to Durwood and Lillian (Koehler) Doench. He married Ronda Kay Ollila August 6, 1987 in Bad Axe.

Bud was a mechanic certified in small engine repair. He retired from Village Service Center in Cass City as an auto mechanic after nearly 30 years of service. Bud loved being at home on their farm. He raised Christmas trees and loved working in his vegetable garden. Bud also enjoyed hunting and car racing at Lapeer Drag way.

Bud is survived by his wife, Ronda; children: Devin Benjamin of Caro, Lisa (Matt) Neal of Bay City, Victoria (Robert) Morris of Holts Summit, MO, Candi (Norman) Brown of Saginaw, Jamie Benjamin of Charleston, SC, Joshua Benjamin at home in Caro; grandchildren: Brad, Brady, Benjamin, Ryleigh, Elizabeth, Christina, Christopher, Dakota; sisters: Barbara (Fred) Weigel of Melbourne, FL, Mable (Richard) Vassallo of Silverwood, Sharon (Jim) Swalding of Fostoria, Pam Shute of Wellston; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 7, 2011 in Kingston Wesleyan Church, Kingston with Rev. Len Wyatt officiating. Interment will be in East Dayton Cemetery, Caro. Pallbearers for Mr. Benjamin will be Pallbearers for Mr. Benjamin: Joshua Benjamin, Mike Ware, Dave Ware, Jim Swalding, George Sangster and Carson O'Dell. Memorials may be made to Joshua Benjamin Education Fund or the Charity of the Donor’s Choice. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
