LESLIE CHARLES BEACH
Leslie C. Beach, 95, of Gagetown, died Thursday, October 14, 2004 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. He was born April 9, 1909 in Tuscola County, to Alvin and Hattie (Wheeler) Beach. He married Inez Crawford June 23, 1934 in Elmwood Township. She died August 1, 1987.
Leslie farmed his whole life on his Grandfather’s centennial farm. He also worked at General Cable 8 years. He was a life member of Tyler Lodge #317, Cass City and held many offices. Leslie was a member of Gagetown United Methodist Church. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Leslie is survived by his sons; Reverend Dr. Stanley (Ellen) Beach of Leesburg, Florida; Ross (Inky) Beach of Mason, Michigan; grandchildren: Beth Ann (Steve) Jennette, Randy (Sheryl) Beach, Laurie (Charles) Dewey; great grandchildren: Sarah, Matthew, Adam, Moriah, and Andre Ross; sister-in-law, Eunice Gottleber; brother-in-law, George Laur, several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his brothers; Clayton, Keith; and sister, Leola Wiscombe.
Funeral services held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 18, 2004 in Gagetown United Methodist Church, Gagetown with Rev. John Heim officiating. Memorials may be made to the Tuscola County Medical Care Facility. Interment is in Grant Township Cemetery, Gagetown.
