ROBERT EDWARD BASHUR,
64, of Cass City, died Monday, October 20, 2014 in United Hospice of Marlette Residence Center. He was born February 5, 1950 in Detroit to Edward Henry and Evelyn (Marte) Bashur. He married Deborah M. Allen October 7, 1972 in Emmanuel Lutheran Church, Dearborn.
Bob attended Northern Michigan University for two years then Madonna University where he received a certificate in Security and Loss Prevention. He worked for the City of Detroit as a Detroit Police Officer for 29 years. He worked as a part time police officer in Caro for a few years and 15 years as a 911 Dispatcher for Tuscola County. Bob enjoyed watching movies and cooking. He was an animal lover, a gadget lover and loved his work.
Bob is survived by his wife, Deborah; children: Elizabeth of Pittsburgh, PA, Anna of Austin, TX and Michael of Gates Mills, OH; brother, Gary (Linda) Bashur of Wixom; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service held 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 23, 2014 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Debra L. Kranz, Funeral Service Celebrant officiating.
