Our hearts are broken, our arms are empty. Our daughter, Alexandria Mavis Barton, died Saturday, October 18, 2008 in Legacy Emanuel Children’s Hospital, in Portland, OR. She was born September 26, 2008 in Southwest Washington Medical Center, Vancouver, WA. As Alexandria’s parents, Daniel Barton and Bethany Stoecklin, we invite family and friends to visit with us and share our sorrow from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2008 at Gagetown United Methodist Church, Gagetown.
Alexandria will also be missed by her grandparents: Patricia Jordan of Bad Axe, Randy Rayl of Glendale, AZ, Mary (Ronald) Ranellucci of Albany, NY, Walter (Harriet) Barton of Schenectady, NY; great grandparents: Earl Rayl of Glendale, AZ and Mavis Parker of Cass City; aunts and uncles: Rebecca (Timothy) Kady of Bad Axe, Corrine (Joseph) Janssen of Owendale, Emily Wissner of Kinde, Robert (Morgan) Rayl of Chandler, AZ, Amber Rayl of Tucson, AZ, Lisa (David) Nicklaus of Albany, NY, Michael Barton of Albany, NY, Kristen Barton of Albany, NY, Ronald Ranelucci, Jr. of Albany, NY, Vikki (Dominic) Ogborn of Albany, NY, Chris (Jan) Winner of Rotterdam, NY; several cousins. She is preceded in death by her great grandparents: Verneta Rayl, Doris R. Barton, Louis and Catherine Gallucci.
Alexandria’s funeral service will be held 12:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 29, 2008 in Gagetown United Methodist Church with Rev. John Heim officiating. Alexandria’s body will be buried in Elkland Township Cemetery with her great grandmother. Memorials may be made to the Family Discretionary Fund.
