William Richard "Bo" Barrons

WILLIAM RICHARD “BO” BARRONS,
71, of Silverwood died following a lengthy battle with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy on Monday, July 26, 2021 in the Cortland Home of Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro. He was born December 4, 1949 to Billy Junior and Bonnie (Shotwell) Barrons. He married Mary Frances Sarles November 9, 1985 in Las Vegas, NV.

Bo graduated in 1968 from Waterford-Kettering High School. Eventually his family moved to Kingston and he began his career as a carpenter working for various companies. Bo was an outdoor sportsman and this included pheasant hunting and deer hunting. Golf was his favorite sport. If he wasn’t out playing a round or two with his friends, he and his daughter, Lyndsey would watch it on television. He also enjoyed playing a card game of Euchre or poker. Bo was an avid and loyal fan of everything U of M, particularly football. He was a good man and tried his best, even though he was notorious for holiday shopping with his sister, Patty, two days before Christmas.

Bo is survived by his wife, Mary; daughters: Lyndsey Barrons of Silverwood; Tracy Blanton of Kissimmee, FL; grandchildren: Kalib Blanton, KayLynn Blanton; sisters: Cathy Mullins of Milford; Carol (Jim) Greania of Waterford; Patty (Danny) Westerby of Akron; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents. His family wishes to extend a special thank you to the staff of the Cortland Home for their exceptional care and support.
