ROBERT HOWARD BAILEY,
64, of Koylton Township died unexpectedly but peacefully Friday, June 4, 2021 in Kingston. He was born August 20, 1956 in Pontiac to Robert Dewey and Eleanor Lucille (Simmons) Bailey. He married Judith Ann Kulinksi on August 17, 2008 in Kingston.
Robert attended Lake Orion schools. He owned and operated Best Tree Service for many years. This was a job that he really enjoyed. He would travel into Detroit, cut trees, and bring the wood back home to sell. Robert went on to work for Lapeer Industries as a machine operator until 2017. Robert was fond of deer hunting and fishing. The Holloway Reservoir in Columbiaville and the Saginaw Bay were his favorite fishing locations. He enjoyed family trips to Mio and canoeing down the AuSable River; many great memories were made over the years and his family still continues this tradition. Robert’s favorite tv shows were Judge Judy and Family Feud. He loved sitting outdoors in the warm weather with a cold beer and spending time with his grandchildren.
Robert is survived by his wife, Judy; his children: Rebecca Bailey of Mayville, Brad (Crystal) Bailey of North Branch, Bryan (Rose) Bailey of Caro, Gabrielle Lapham of Caro, Amber Partin of Caro, Billy Jo (Rondel) Davidson of Crescent City, CA; grandchildren: Natalie, Johnathan, Katelyn, Michele, Aliyah, Kylynn, Todd, Kelsie, Dominique, Kolt, Brittany, Cameron, Ashton, Summer, J.C.; great grandchildren: Khyree, Remi, Jaxon, Grayson; siblings: Patricia Thies Johnson of Holly, Betty Thies of Mayville, Tom Bailey of Linden, Debbie Van Deusen of Linden. He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Aurora Little; brother, John Bailey; sister, Florence Simmons.
