Tamara Kay Andersson (Hamilton)

September 26, 1958 — May 27, 2020

TAMARA (TAM) KAY ANDERSSON,
61, of Caro, died peacefully at home Wednesday, May 27, 2020. She was born September 26, 1958 in Caro to William and Joyce (Hobart) Hamilton. She married Martin Andersson July 24, 1991 in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. Tam graduated from Cass City High School in 1976.

Throughout her life, Tam enjoyed holding various public service positions around Caro. Most notable being, a bank teller for Independent Bank, a cashier and customer service representative for Walmart, and a paraprofessional for Caro Community Schools.

Tam was a great trip planner and always arranged plans for everyone’s enjoyment, keeping in mind to only book hotels with a pool and hot tub. When a trip was finished, she was already planning for the next exciting adventure. Tam cherished the time spent vacationing with her family. Some of the more memorable trips involved visiting Sweden, England, and Denmark. While home, Tam always enjoyed stepping out to attend a concert, a movie, or a meal at a restaurant. Some other favorite activities included going bowling, playing word games, shopping, and making memories with family and friends.

Tam was actively sharing and reaching out to all her closest relatives and acquaintances through social media, being sure to maintain close connections with her husband's family in Sweden. One of Tam's passions was visiting lighthouses, beaches, and flower gardens. She was known to have a sweet tooth and loved desserts of all kinds.

Tam is survived by her husband, Martin; daughter, Stephanie Talaski Woodward of Caro; sons: Shawn (Jessica Shaw) Talaski of Chicago, IL; Adam (Paige Barnes) Talaski of Munger; Niklas Andersson of Caro; Erik (Nicole) Andersson of Caro; grandchildren: Madison, Sydney, Zane, Gavin; her father, William (Margaret) Hamilton of Caro; sister, Karen (Richard) Williams of Caro; brother, Gary Hamilton of Hawaii; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Ventline.
