WAYNE "PEE WEE" LEE ANDERSON,
76, of Cass City died unexpectedly Monday, December 17, 2012 in Hills and Dales General Hospital. He was born January 2, 1936 in Kokomo, IN to Frank and Mary Anderson. He married Betty Kreuzer August 30, 1957 in Rothenbach, Germany near Nϋrnberg. She died September 23, 2006.
Wayne served in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. He worked for General Cable retiring after over 30 years. Wayne met his wife while stationed in Germany. Together they were "Rock and Roll" dancers and danced in many area establishments, including Wildwood Farms, Colony House and Frankenmuth dance halls. They were in the "Spotlight" in Nashville. Wayne was proud of his "shop" that he created in his pole barn that included his juke box, bar and other 50's memorabilia.
Wayne is survived by his children: Jeanne (Pete) Murawski of New Haven, Jim Anderson of Cass City, Belinda (Jack Edwards) Anderson of Cass City; grandchildren: Chasity (Michael) Perzanowski, Jason (Amanda) Mester, Joshua Kenward, Jessica Mester, Cynthia (Kurt) Romstad, Steven Anderson; great grandchildren: Cody, Braeden, Shaede, Katelynn, Brianna, Jordan, Shanell, Payton, Abby, Jovi, Gavin, Brenden; sister, Mary Lou Bergman of Caro; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his grandson, Thomas Mester; brothers: Bill Keel, Stan Keel, Charles Anderson; sisters: Marge Keel, Margaret Creason.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 20, 2012 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Brad Speirs of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Interment is in Elkland Township Cemetery. Pallbearers for Mr. Anderson: Jason Mester, Steven Anderson, Mike Perzanowski, Braeden Perzanowski, Shaede Perzanowski, Kurt Romstad and Joshua Kenward. Memorials may be made to Family Discretionary Fund. Military honors under the direction of the U.S. Army and Cass City VFW Post #3644.
