BETTY ANDERSON
Betty Anderson, 70, of Cass City, died Saturday, September 23, 2006 in her home following a long illness. She was born June 13, 1936 in Rothenbach, Germany to Johann and Theresa (Kraus)Kreuzer. She married Wayne L. Anderson August 30, 1957 in Rothenbach, Germany near Nürnburg.
Betty met her husband while he was in the U.S. Army stationed in Germany. Together they were �"Rock and Roll” dancers and danced in many area establishments, including Wildwood Farms, Colony House and Frankenmuth dance halls. Betty worked for Walbro Manufacturing for 17 years. She was a great cook and enjoyed crocheting afghans. Betty loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Betty is survived by her husband, Wayne �"Peewee”; children: Jeanne (Pete) Murawski of Clinton Township, Jim Anderson of Cass City, Belinda Anderson of Cass City; grandchildren, Chasity (Michael) Perzanowski, Jason Mester, Joshua Kenward, Jessica Mester, Thomas Mester, Cynthia Anderson, Steven Anderson; great grandchildren: Cody, Braeden, Shaede, Katelynne, Brianna, Jordan, Shanell, Payton; sisters: Heidi, Margaret, Rosie and Traudi all of Germany; brother-in-law, Charles Anderson of Florida; sister-in-law, Mary Lou Bergman of Caro. She was preceded in death by her son, John Anderson in 1989; sister, Ingrid; and an eight year old brother.
Funeral service held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2006 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Chuck Emmert of Novesta Church of Christ officiating. Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Family and friends may share memories, prayers and stories with the family at www.kranzfuneralhome.com.
