BONNIE LOU ALEXANDER
78, of Freeland, formerly of Cass City, died Tuesday, September 27, 2022 while on vacation with her family. She was born October 10, 1943 in Cass City to Arnold and Mildred (Bartle) Copeland.
Bonnie graduated from Cass City High School with the Class of 1961. She worked at Travco Motor Homes in Brown City and later as a factory worker for General Motors. Together, Bonnie and her husband Arnold owned and operated Riverview Motel and Bait Shop of Bay City for forty years. In her younger years, she enjoyed riding motorcycles with Arnold. Bonnie was a skilled porcelain doll maker, and had many other talents. She was a wonderful cook and will best be remembered as a workaholic.
Bonnie is survived by her husband, Arnold of Freeland; children: Les (Patty) Kritzman of Sandusky; Kevin (Kelley) Kritzman of Bay City; stepdaughters: Lori Jackson of Norman, OK; Lynn Hall of Gladwin; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; brother, Kirk Copeland of Freeland; sister, Phyllis Sullivan of Knoxville, TN. She is preceded in death by her stepdaughters: Deborah Angus, Rita Pressley; brother, Robert (Marcia) Copeland.
