KATHLEEN MARIE ALCORN,
51, of Cass City, died following a long illness Wednesday, March 27, 2013 in Tendercare Nursing Facility, Cass City. She was born March 22, 1962 in Mt. Clemens to George and Rose (Ward) Sheer. She married Kenneth C. Alcorn, December 31, 1995 in Adair.
Kathleen graduated from Marine City High School. She worked in a title office for over 15 years. She was a wife and mother caring for her husband, children and their home. Kathleen's passion was oil painting. She was a true artist. She also enjoyed arts and crafts.
Kathleen is survived by her husband, Ken; children: Amy (James) Lacroix of Owendale, Dakotah Alcorn of Owendale; mother, Rose Ward of New Baltimore; father, George Sheer of Arizona; grandchildren: Katlyn, Dagon, Rylin; sisters: Connie (Lee) Upplegger of Casco, Georgette (Mike) Delockroy of China, MI; brother, Mike (Dawn) Sheer of Richmond; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
