NORMA JEAN ADAMS
Norma J. Adams, 62, of Cass City, died from complications of Alzheimer’s Disease Sunday, January 28, 2018 in her home with her family by her side. She was born June 28, 1955 in Flint to Robert and Nancy (Herr) Coverdill. She was married to Clayton Burdett Adams in 1972. She later married Alfred Lee Carpentier in 1996, he died February 18, 2000.
Norma worked as a certified nursing assistant in Flint Hurley Hospital. She later worked for Sandusky County Child Protective Services as a social worker. She enjoyed spending time outdoors hunting deer, pheasant and geese. Norma was an avid reader and has a large collection of books from fantasy stories to romance novels. She loved animals especially her dog and cats.
Norma is survived by her parents, Robert and Nancy Coverdill of Cass City; her daughters: Bonnie Adams of Cass City; Rebecca Adams of Cass City; Jennifer Adams of Cass City, Nichole Nicol of Cass City; grandchildren: Gage Hardesty, Chelsea Hardesty, Treanna Dietrich, Erik Michalski, Anna Louks, Tabatha Krueger, Samantha Krueger; eight great grandchildren; brothers: Robert (Roberta) Coverdill, Jr. of Deford; Bert (Deb) Coverdill of Deckerville; sister, Mickie (Ralph) Brient of Webberville. She is preceded in death by her sisters: Vickie Foust and Darcie Harris: nephew, Steven Wren.
Funeral service held 12:00 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 in Kranz Funeral Home, Cass City with Austin Keller of Novesta Church of Christ officiating.
