Condolence: Sincere condolences to Alex's family. Alex was a friendly & kind hearted person. Always had a kind smile. He was pleasant to be around and just a good person. I lived a block away from Alex as a teen and rode the school bus with him and he was kind to everyone. I wish I could attend his memorial service however am not able at this time. Rest in Jesus's arms Alex, you'll be missed!

Condolence From: ardis roebuck nicol
Condolence: Alex was there for my children and I. My my dad (Dale Nicol) died he helped me so much just lending an ear and listening to me about all the sorrow I was feeling at the time.
As my son grew up he taught him so much. He was the father his father never was and I am so thankful to because my son is just like him. He is so thoughtful and loving.
I am so very sorry for your loss Aunt June and the nicol family.
May your days be filled with loving prayers and kindness. My health is not good and I would love to be there to celebrate his life but I am unable to be.
May your days be filled with happy memories and I will be praying for you all. I Love you all.

Condolence: My deepest sympathies on the loss of Alex. I worked at GM as an engineer and interacted with Alex on many projects through B&K (KUKA) for many years. We had an absolute blast working together! He was such a brilliant man, willing to try different things. We were successful in developing many techniques that are now considered routine in the testing industry.

I know Alex was a family man as we often talked of our families. He is sadly missed and very fondly remembered. My prayers for you all.

Condolence: Alex was only in my life only for a short amount of time when I was younger but he sure did make an impact on me. He made me my first email/username on AOL (nyakyak because all I would do is yak his ear off lol). I remember when we came back from vacation and he told us about the boxer dog the boarding place asked if we wanted to adopt, which we ended up doing :)
I remember when I didn't close the garage door one night and I let the dogs outside when we got home. We spent what felt like forever chasing them around our neighborhood to get them back inside! I still feel bad about that one :(

There was a time when Alex, our dog TJ and I were driving back from Caro and a bad thunderstorm started. I was terrified at the time but he asured me we would make it home okay. And we did!

On 9/11 he was traveling for work down to Mexico and his plane got stopped in Texas. We were all so scared about his whereabouts but thankfully he was okay. I remember driving down to Flint a few days later to pick him up from the airport after he drove all the way back home.

Things between my mom and him didn't end well. But, life moves on and time heals. Everything happens for a reason.

I'm so happy that Alex and I reconnected on Facebook a while back. It's a good feeling knowing he never stopped caring about me. I wish we would have been able to talk more often. I will miss silly comments on my posts every so often. I wish I would have gotten the chance to maybe see him again and introduce him to my husband, our 5 month old son and my stepdaughter. But, I will cherish what I did get.

He was a good man and my heart is broken for the whole Nicol family. Please know you are all in my thoughts and prayers.
