Pre-Arrangement

A gift to your family, sparing them hard decisions at an emotional time.

Obituaries & Tributes

It is not always possible to pay respects in person, so we hope that this small token will help.

The Remembrance Process

The Remembrance Processâ„  captures the importance of the human need to be remembered.

Additional Facilities

Our main hallways are wide enough for large crowds arriving for visitations and services.  The fireplace area opens to the North, West and South allowing for people coming and going in an orderly fashion.  It also accommodates people arriving or leaving from more than one visitation or service.

Resource Center SW corner
This photo shows our Resource Center displaying Wood Casket samples. Caskets made of wood range in price from $895 laminated light pine to $7,000 Mahogany.

Resource Center SE corner
This photo shows samples of Outer Burial Containers or Burial Vaults.  We have selections ranging in price for the minimum concrete container at $570 to the Maximum Strength Burial Vault of Solid Bronze at $7,250.  This photo also shows several of the other products we offer such as cemetery markers, flag cases, Remembrance Jewelry for cremated remains or dried flower placement.  We also personalize Remembrance Blankets and casket overlays.  Teddy Bears made of the deceased clothing are shown here also.

Resource Center Pet Loss
This photo shows our Pet Loss Center.  We are honored to take care of your loving pet when their death occurs.  Please talk to us for details or our services and costs involved.  We offer many Pet Remembrances for yourself, family or friends.  Many of our pet urns are crafted by a local artisan right here in Cass City.

Resource Center Personalization Center
This photo shows the many choices to personalize the casket.  Many caskets have corners that can be removed and replaced by a more personal choice, such as a barn, a cross, and eagle to name a few.  All these choices are at no additional charge.  Also, head panels can be personalized with a name or specific design for a charge of  $125.  Casket overlays can be personalized also with any wording or design of your choice.  Thousands of designs are possible.  The cost for this is $125 also.

Resource Center NW corner
This photo shows a few of our metal samples.  Caskets to the left of the photo are 18 gauge caskets of various prices around to Stainless Steel Caskets.  Our metal caskets range in price from a minimum 20 gauge steel casket at $995 to the solid bronze at $8,000.

Resource Center East wall
This photo shows the Bronze casket samples.  It also shows burial clothing for those folks who do not have anything appropriate for the funeral.  We have many choices of men's and women's clothing with underclothes packages also.  In the center of the photo you can see several choices of minimum cost caskets and caskets designed with cremation in mind.  The cremation caskets are made with products that are about 95% combustible.  They are pegged rather than nailed.  Handles are wood rather than metal.  The only metal found on these caskets may be the hinges and/or clasps.  You also see a large selection of cremation urns.  As we believe choices are important to people we have a large amount of urns for you to choose from, even urns you can decorate yourself.  Urn prices range from $75 to $495.  Many of these urns are crafted and designed by a local Cass City Artisan using area lumber.

Resource Center NE corner
This photo shows the metal casket samples including 18 gauge steel, Stainless Steel to the Bronze Samples.  Metal caskets range in price from $995 minimum 20 gauge to $8,000 Regency Gold Bronze.

Resource Center Arrangement Office
In our arrangement office we display many more choices of cremation urns.  Cremation urns are made of many different materials including many types of wood, ceramic, marble, porcelain, plastic and resin.  We have many keepsake urns also.  Some keepsake urns match the full size urns.  We also work with many Remembrance Jewelry companies and with many companies who work the cremated remains into glass to create beautiful beads for necklaces or bracelets or other items such as glass roses, touchstones, paperweights and more.  We work closely with Aurora Preserved Flowers in Saginaw  and Village Freeze Dried Flowers in Hemlock and can arrange for flowers from the casket spray to be taken to either immediately following the service as both companies want the flowers as soon as possible to get the best possible results in their products.  We also work closely with Meadow Hill.  This is the company who makes Thumbies, the jewelry with a fingerprint of your loved one on it.  The quality of this product is wonderful.  Ask us about any of our remembrances.   We are happy to help you.

Solar Panels
In an effort to continue to work toward being a "Green" business Kranz Funeral Home installed 3 sets of 28 panels each on the South side of the funeral home in 2011.
